Halloween Downloads: PNG, PDF or MP4?
Use PNG or JPG for a still image, PDF for a flat page-sized print file, and MP4 for a six-second design animation. Pick the final shape before laying out the words and inspect the download before sharing.
PNG and JPG: a still design
PNG is useful when sharp lettering matters. JPG is another image option for sharing. The studio renders both at the selected canvas size; if a platform recompresses the file, inspect the version people will actually receive.
PDF: page size with a flat design
The 5 × 7 option exports a 1500 × 2100 image canvas and a PDF page measuring 5 × 7 inches. These dimensions describe the export, not the native artwork resolution. The source illustrations are 1060 × 1484 pixels. The PDF is flat; text remains editable in the saved project, not as separate PDF layers.
MP4: a short design animation
The motion-design workflow exports a silent, six-second 1080 × 1920 MP4 with a gentle camera move and stable lettering. This is not a generated costume scene or face transformation. Use an animation starter, preview all six seconds, and check the edges before downloading.
Compare shape before export
A square image is 1080 × 1080. A portrait social image is 1080 × 1350. A story is 1080 × 1920. A4 and Letter options are also available. Check the studio’s selected format, because changing it changes the crop and available text area.
Before a print shop or a social post
Ask a printer about bleed, margins, paper and color requirements before ordering. For a social video, add any music in a tool where you have permission to use it, and confirm that the app accepts the clip length and format. This editor does not supply music rights or physical print delivery.
Questions before you create?
Does a 1500 × 2100 export mean native 300-DPI artwork?
No. The export canvas is larger than the source artwork. Enlarging a file does not create new native detail; check a test print.
Is the MP4 an AI-generated video?
The available six-second MP4 is a deterministic design animation. Personalized AI video templates have their own credit quote and generation steps.
